Party Time with UPB!

Ultimate Blog Party 2012

Well, it's time to party!!! Whoo hoo!

I love to sit and chat with friends. Grab a cup of coffee (I like to make my own Starbucks drinks - so much cheaper!) or some tea.

And what's a cup of coffee without some pie to go with it? I'm going to have some yummy homemade chocolate pie.

Now, let's get to know one another, shall we?

I'm Marsha. I'm a forty-something homeschooling mama who loves to cook and bake. Cleaning up? Not so much.

I'm married to the love of my life, my sweet husband Charles.

We've been married 13 years and have been blessed with two children. Mr. Lego is 11 and the Princess is 9, almost 10. They've grown up while I wasn't looking, I think.

I started blogging to share my recipes with family and friends who live all around the country. It was just easier to put it all in a blog format, like a an online cookbook. I'm known in my family for tweaking, changing recipes according to our tastes and hoping they turn out! LOL

I've branched out a bit now, so you can find tidbits about our life, homeschooling, spiritual lessons I'm learning along the way, and anything else that prompts me to write. I'm a work in progress myself, trying to live a life pleasing to the Lord and setting a good example for my children. I love meeting other bloggers, so leave me a comment and introduce yourself!

I'd be honored if you'd join me here in my corner of the blogosphere for a while. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

  11. Hi, Marsha - it's Tina from THL! I'm stopping by from the UBP - belatedly because my week was just insane so I had no time before now to visit anyone - and am so glad to see that you have a blog. I, too, write about our home learning journey as well as other things. Hope you'll stop by: http://tinahollenbeck.blogspot.com/2012/04/2012-ultimate-blog-party.html.
