Menu Plan January 13-19

I'm happy to report that we all survived the Cold Snap of 2014. I hope that wherever you live, you came through unscathed as well. Now we're back to normal January temperatures.

Hubby and Mr. Lego had a very eventful weekend. They went with some friends to a Lego convention in Birmingham. There were dozens of intricate Lego creations, including this re-enactment of a WWII battle scene. Click on the picture to enlarge and see the amazing detail!
Now on to this week's menu plan:

Monday
Chicken and wild rice soup with bacon (crockpot), cheesy biscuit bites

Tuesday
Ham and potato casserole, green beans

Wednesday
Chicken bacon subs, fries

Thursday
Beef stew, homemade French bread

Friday
Tasty tilapia, veggie rice pilaf

Saturday
Chicken and cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes

Sunday
Swedish meatballs, noodles

  1. Are the star shaped things the cheesy biscuit bites? That would be kinda fun. I make homemade from scratch buttermilk biscuits but I just use a plain ol' 2" biscuit cutter. They're super flaky & delicious if I do say so myself.

    1. Yes, I used star shaped cookie cutters for the biscuit bites. Sometimes I'll use hearts or other shapes. It's fun to mix it up!

  2. Nice menu! The cheesy biscuit bites..mmmmmmmm. I have such a hankering for buttered biscuits and roasted sweet tater fries. I still can't fathom people think that's gross :/ lol.

The cold came here lol! :D I can send it back if you want? :D lol
