Menu Plan - May 2-8

Another week passed and a new one begun. And each one seems to get busier than the last! Planning a weekly menu helps take some of the pressure off, both in grocery shopping and meal prep. If you aren't a menu planner, try it this week. Look at what's on sale at your local grocery stores, then come up with a simple menu based on the sales. This week chicken is on sale here, so I've got some chicken dishes planned.

Here's what is coming up this week:

Burgers and fries

Pizza, breadsticks

Grilled chicken, grilled asparagus, hash brown casserole

Rice and bean burritos, tortillas chips, salsa

Chicken nuggets, fried potatoes

Garlic butter shrimp and pasta, lemon pepper broccoli

Grilled steaks, baked potatoes

  1. The one thing that jumped out at me immediately is grilled esparagus. I love this time of year when it's in season and fresh. Sounds so good.
